Vacuum Pouch Material:

1.PA/LDPE
This is the most common material for vacuum packing. You can find it in the supper market when you buy rice or any other grain.
2.PA/FOIL/CPP
The Barrier Better than PA/LDPE, mainly used to pack meat. Someone who like to eat beef or pork, i am sure you saw a lot of this packing pouch.
Usually, most aluminum foil vacuum pouches can be used as retort bags, but yet, there will be some difference in other materials for this both of packaging pouches. High temperature resist ove 120℃ is the excellent performance for this kind of material
3.PET/PA/FOIL/CPP
Same temperature 120℃ resistance. Keep the taste fresh as original. Besides, PET layer is printable. logo , text, advertisement any information you plan to transmit to consumer, you can print on the pouches. So, much better than PA/Foil/CPP in brand image.
4.PA/CPP
Same basic function like 2 and 3, but the difference is this material is transparent, you can see what inside.
How to choose vacuum pouches for food packaging ?
The application of vacuum packaging is to remove oxygen, prevent food deterioration,
But some food deterioration and discoloration are not only caused by enzyme reaction, So need to combine with other auxiliary methods.Such as refrigeration, quick-freezing, dehydration, high-temperature sterilization, irradiation sterilization, microwave sterilization, souse and so on.
Therefore, Choose different packaging materials according to the product. For example, quick frozen snacks need to be heat before eating. So high temperature resistance material show very good performance at this kind of packing. No doubt, “PA+CPP” is the first choice.
For some cookie with a very cute shape, use the transparent packing material. For sure the children grab the cookie from the shelf when they shopping in the market with their mom.
But chocolate — melting point at 33 degrees℃. Use FOIL film to keep the temperature low, at least Thermal conductivity of foil is better than PA or PET.
The barrier films in the vacuum pouches
PA, FOIL and other water-resistant films are used in the packing of liquid, sauce or oily food, these films are named barrier films. The function of this film is for high temperature resistance. Basically, the resistance is related to the thickness of the film
The thickness of ordinary CPP film is generally between 25 ~ 50μm
Retort CPP film thickness is generally between 60 ~ 80μm, can withstand 121 ℃, 30min high temperature cooking, oil resistance, air tightness is better, and heat sealing strength is high, general meat packaging inner use retort grade CPP film.
Tips of Vacuum pouches procurement
1)Ask the supplier to provide their stock list for vacuum pouches. There is no MOQ limitation for stock buying.
2)Use the logo sticker instead of printing logo on the pouches if you concern about the cost saving.
